Friday, June 23 –  ‘Planner Girl Club’ Monthly Get Together and Crop
CAW Planner Girl Club LogoAre you a ‘Planner Girl’? Join this dynamic group of planners to share ideas, embellish your next month’s planner pages and have some cropping fun!.
Time: 6:00 to 9:00 pm
Cost: $25 (includes monthly planner embellishments and crop fee)
What to bring: your planner and any other projects you want to work on.

Sunday, June 25 – Domenic’s Academy of Music 50th Anniversary Celebration
Crop A While will be joining Domenic’s 50th Anniversary celebration. This outdoor event will begin at 11:00 am in the parking lot of the 2297 St-Joseph Blvd. Plaza. There will be live music, a Cuisine & Passion barbeque and a free make-and-take craft for the kids hosted by Crop A While.
Make and Take Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Cost: Free

Canadian Producers Showcase – In honour of Canada’s 150th Birthday, during July Crop A While will showcase products from several Canadian Producers …  We will start with: 1.2.3.Scrap, Emerald Creek, Frog’s Whiskers Ink, Magenta Style, Old Island Stamps, Scrap Fimo, and Southern Ridge Trading. We will add more as we find and establish accounts with other Canadian producers.

Thursday, July 6 / Friday, July 7 – ‘Christmas in July’

Even though summer has barely arrived you are invited to get a head start on your Christmas cards. Join Heather for some fun with the new Distress Oxide inks and Penny Black stamps and dies. We will create colourful backgrounds with the new inks, add some shimmer and shine then finish them off with images and sentiments. There will be plenty of scope for personalising your designs with colour and image choices.

Friday session: 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Cost: $38
What to bring: adhesive, liquid adhesive, paper trimmer, scissors, tweezers, acrylic block, water jar, size 4-6 watercolour paintbrush, spritzer, masking tape, craft mat or impermeable surface to layer ink on.
Optional but helpful: distress oxide inks, black ink pad (all for your own use, Heather will have hers to share with the class), Stick-it adhesive if you want to make gluing die cut images easier!

Sunday, July 9 – ‘Summer Bicycles’

What to bring: basic tools, scissors, paper trimmer, ruler, adhesives, and pop-ups.

Thursdays, July 20 and 27 – ‘Encyclomedia’

Tom MixedMedia EnclyclomediaRepurpose your old encyclopedia! Create multiple layers and unique textures to capture a special moment or place.
Times: 6:00 to 9:00 pm on each evening
Cost: $70
What to bring: basic tools, scissors, paper trimmer, ruler, adhesives, and pop-ups.
1) For first class you will need
10 sets of pre-glued old encyclopedia pages.  For each set, take 2 encyclopedia pages and glue them completely together using Tombow mono liquid glue (white/green bottle). Several other glues were tried but this one gave the best results. If you don’t have any encyclopedia pages we can provide you with what you need. Please pick them up at least 2 days before the class.
2) For the second class you will need your photos on a memory stick or sent to info@cropawhile.ca so they can printed in sepia or black/white.

Time to get together, make new friends and create some beautiful memories. Advance registration is required for this popular crop time.

Wednesday Drop-in Crops – When the crop room is not being used for a scheduled event, it is available for you to work on your own projects.

Thursday Evening Drop-in Crops – When the crop room is not being used for a scheduled event, it is available for you to work on your own projects.
Evening:  5:00 pm to 9:00 pm / Cost:  $6 (HST included)

Friday Anti-Stress Crops – End the week with some fun creative time.
When the crop room is not being used for a scheduled event, it is available for you to work on your own projects. Come all day or just for the evening.
