For the Record altered art class with Finnabair (Anna Dabrowska)

For the Record - altered vinyl record with a lot of layers and sparkle
Your imagination is the limit! Try dimensional mixed-media techniques on a bit unusual surface - vinyl record - to create unique, rich and sparkly composition based on Art Extravagance Pastes, Art Basics Gesso and Gels and a lot of embellishments including natural materials and elements created with molds.

During the class you will work on high-quality products from my mixed-media collection including Mica Powders, Glitters and Art Alchemy Liquid Acrylic Paints. Together we will build our projects step-by-step and and you will see that presented techniques are very versatile and be easily used on many other projects such as collage or scrapbooking layouts. Finnabair will share her experience with you and try to give you plenty of information about the tools and products used.

All the paints, mediums and elements needed to finish the project are provided - except the vinyl record - please bring one with you! This class is suitable both for advanced and beginning students. Class time: about 3.5h

"During all the classes I create new projects with students, step-by-step and encourage them to try the techniques instead of recreating the project. They have a wide range of mixed-media supplies provided by me and I allow them to choose their colors/composition as much as possible. I will be focusing on Prima - Finnabair products of course, but not limiting to them."  Finnabair

Materials Included: All the paints, mediums and elements needed to finish the project are provided - except the vinyl record - please bring one with you!
Instructor: Finnabair
Instructor Bio: Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair. was born in Warsaw, Poland, now lives in Ireland with her husband, Andrzej and her pets. She is a woman of many interests: a mixed media artist, art journaler and designer who loves new challenges, experiments and developing new techniques and skills. She has been creating since 2007, started scrapbooking in 2008-2009 and mixed-media in 2009 when she got totally addicted. Her projects are texture and art medium-based: she makes paper and canvas layouts, collages and altered art, tags, journal pages, and many more. She believes in the power of recycling and upcycling and just adores texture, paints of any kind and flea market supplies. Freedom, embracing creativity and being true to your inner voice is her main source of inspiration and creative energy.
