Poetry of Patina Collage with Finnabair (Anna Dabrowska)

Poetry of Patina - There is not a single touch of paint on this project - this large, beautiful collage on canvas is all about the rust, patina and metallic look!

What a great way to try many techniques at once: building some truly dimensional, intriguing composition, using two amazing and unique Art Extravagance sets: Rust Paste and Patina Paste and finally finish it all with really beautiful (and user-friendly!) Metallique Waxes.

Poetry of Patina is an amazing, statement canvas with a great range of innovative products on basis of some good mixed-media techniques - which can be easily used on many other projects such as home decor and altered objects or journal pages.

All the elements, pastes and mediums are provided – this project is suitable both for advanced and beginning students. Class time: 4 – 4.5h

  • Apron
  • Heating tool/gun and extension cord

"During all the classes I create new projects with students, step-by-step and encourage them to try the techniques instead of recreating the project. They have a wide range of mixed-media supplies provided by me and I allow them to choose their colors/composition as much as possible. I will be focusing on Prima - Finnabair products of course, but not limiting to them."  Finnabair

Instructor: Finnabair
Instructor Bio: Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair. was born in Warsaw, Poland, now lives in Ireland with her husband, Andrzej and her pets. She is a woman of many interests: a mixed media artist, art journaler and designer who loves new challenges, experiments and developing new techniques and skills. She has been creating since 2007, started scrapbooking in 2008-2009 and mixed-media in 2009 when she got totally addicted. Her projects are texture and art medium-based: she makes paper and canvas layouts, collages and altered art, tags, journal pages, and many more. She believes in the power of recycling and upcycling and just adores texture, paints of any kind and flea market supplies. Freedom, embracing creativity and being true to your inner voice is her main source of inspiration and creative energy.
