Mechanica with Finnabair (Anna Dabrowska)

Have you ever wondered how to create a multi-layered, dimensional project with a lot of details and colours?  'Mechanica' is not only a great way to jump into the world of mixed-media but also create a bold, breathtaking artwork for your home or studio.

During this class you will work on all the layers and textures to build your 3D object out of HDF bases and elements and a range of embellishments. We will be trying a range of products from Finnabair's Art Basics and Art Alchemy lines including gesso, gels and Liquid Acrylics. Using her Tissue Papers, molds and metal embellishments you will create the eye-catching, intriguing mechanical composition… all that means you are getting a lot of creative freedom combined with useful tips and inspirational techniques which you can apply to many future projects!

"During all the classes I create new projects with students, step-by-step and encourage them to try the techniques instead of recreating the project. They have a wide range of mixed-media supplies provided by me and I allow them to choose their colors/composition as much as possible. I will be focusing on Prima - Finnabair products of course, but not limiting to them."  Finnabair

Instructor Bio: Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair. was born in Warsaw, Poland, now lives in Ireland with her husband, Andrzej and her pets. She is a woman of many interests: a mixed media artist, art journaler and designer who loves new challenges, experiments and developing new techniques and skills. She has been creating since 2007, started scrapbooking in 2008-2009 and mixed-media in 2009 when she got totally addicted. Her projects are texture and art medium-based: she makes paper and canvas layouts, collages and altered art, tags, journal pages, and many more. She believes in the power of recycling and upcycling and just adores texture, paints of any kind and flea market supplies. Freedom, embracing creativity and being true to your inner voice is her main source of inspiration and creative energy.
