Printing with a gel plate opens up a world of opportunities for artists, card makers, scrapbookers and art journallers. Gel printing can be done with a range of art materials and found objects. Join Heather to learn a variety of ways to use a gel plate and create a stack of prints you can turn into cards, collage and works of art. Participants will need to bring their own gel plate and brayer to the class.
What to bring: Gel Plate*, soft brayer*, 6"x 6" detailed pattern stencil or one to fit your gel plate, wet wipes, apron
Optional but helpful: papers of different kinds (printer, tissue, rice paper, kraft paper, book or music pages), acrylic medium body paints, extra stencils
Heather recommends Gel Press brand of gel plates and Speedball soft rubber brayers - both of which are available at Crop A While.
