Following on from her introductory gel printing class Heather is offering a workshop featuring  techniques with a range of inks, magazine images and natural materials. We will continue to experiment with our gel plates to create finely detailed prints, image transfers and inky designs. Previous experience with gel printing required. Participants will need to bring their own gel plate, brayer, white acrylic paint and 3-4 alcohol inks to the class.  

What to bring:  Gel Plate*, soft brayer*, white acrylic paint, 3-4 alcohol inks, detailed pattern stencil
*Heather recommends the Gel Press brand of gel plates and Speedball soft rubber brayers.

Optional but helpful:  paper of different kinds (printer, tissue, rice paper, kraft paper, cardstock), acrylic paints, extra stencils, high contrast or B/W glossy magazine pages, alcohol ink air blower, oxide and pigment inks
